1. Sakteng Wildlife Sanctuary

This wildlife sanctuary is located in the Trashigang District that houses the easternmost ecosystems and landscapes. This has been a great attraction for the tourists for a lot of factors like, eastern blue pine, a typical coniferous evergreen, blue poppy, black-rumped magpie, and many others alike. 

2. Bumdeling Wildlife Sanctuary

Out of all the others, Bumdeling Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the North-Western Bhutan that shares its borders with Tibet in China and north-eastern regions of India. You will witness the red panda and many other endangered species.

3. Jomotsangkha Wildlife Sanctuary

This is again one of the most amazing inhabitants of fauna in Bhutan located in the South-eastern region of Bhutan that was traditionally known as Khaling Neoli. It is a small reserve that is protected where you find rare species like Pygmy Hog. The best time to pay a visit to this national park is during the months of March to May and August to November.

4. Phibsoo Wildlife Sanctuary

This national park is located in the southern part of Bhutan that shares a boundary with Assam where you will discover a lot of animals namely, Golden Langurs, Gaur, Asian Elephants etc. Other than that, you find the Chital Deer and birds like hornbills.

5. Royal Manas National Park

This is renowned as the Bhutan’s Crown Jewel that is the oldest protected inhabitant in Bhutan since the year 1993. If you want to spot the endangered Royal Bengal Tiger, then this is the best place where you also spot the Asian elephant, one-horned rhinoceros, Himalayan black bear, clouded leopard, pangolin, and the Ganges dolphin.

6. Jigme Dorji National Park

This is the largest national park covering the 5 districts of Bhutan, namely, Thimphu, Paro, Wangdue Phodrang, Punakha, and Gasa. The animals that you will find here are, tigers, Red Panda, and Himalayan Blue Sheep. 7. Jigme Singye Wangchuck National Park

This National Park is also known as the Bhutan National Park, which is the second largest National Park after Jigme Dorji National Park. Here, you will get to witness the golden langur, the red panda, and the Royal Bengal tiger.
