Once you arrive at Chennai, you will be welcomed by the representative of Swan Tours, directed to Puducherry. After breakfast, you will spend your second sightseeing day at Puducherry which was a French Colony in 1674. Your attractions for the day will include Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville, Ayee Mandapam - Park Monument, French War Memorial, Eglise De Sacre Coeur De Jesus, which is an ensemble of the Gothic architecture and Handmade Paper Factory. Enjoy the French heritage walk and get back to the hotel and stay overnight!
Post breakfast, your third day will be dedicated to a drive to Mahabalipuram which has beaches and temples for you. Your temple list includes shore Temple, Panch Rath, Varah Caves, Arjuna's Penance, and Krishna's Butter Ball. Post this, you will approach Kanchipuram which is country-wide known as the city of thousand temples, where you will be visiting the Vishnukanchi temple, Kanchi Kamakshi temple, Kailasnath Temple, Ekambareshwar temple, Ulaganaatha Perumal Temple and also the Kanchipuram sarees (made of silk) which can’t be missed. Stay overnight in the hotel, after the day gets over.
Post breakfast, you will check-out from the hotel and move for the shopping day where you can pick all your favourite items that you discovered so far. After this, you will proceed to Chennai for catching the flight back home.
