Day 01

Arrival in Tezpur from Guwahati

Day 02

Day 03

Dirang local sightseeing

Wake up to the morning breakfast and set out on a guided journey to explore Dirang. You will encounter the Sangti Valley that is situated on the shores of the Sangti river that is where you will discover the black-necked crane that flies across from China and perhaps Leh. Also pay a visit to the Sheep Breeding Centre, Dirang Dzong along with Mandala to catch the spellbound insights of nature. Have some local village cuisines and return to the hotel in Dirang to stay overnight post the day adjourns.

Day 04

Dirang – Sela Pass - Tawang

Start the new day with the morning breakfast and start with your visit to Tawang on a guided drive after you check-out from Dirang. As you continue to the new destination in a row, you will come across the Sela Pass that is 2 hours away from Dirang at an elevation of 14000 feet and has a sparse population with an alpine forest cover. This is indeed cold place with a blanket of snow covering the hills followed by the paradise lake that you can onlook. Once you reach out to the Tawang Chu River from Sela that is 40 minutes away from the post which you will check-in the hotel that is prescribed for your stay. Take rest and go out to hit some sightseeing spots like, the 300-year-old famous Tawang Monastery that is also known as a Gompa that is the oldest in India and second largest in Asia after Lhasa. You will get a hint of Tibetan influence religiously and also culturally for the ancient Thankas and manuscripts reflect the same. Stay overnight post your drive back to the hotel!

Day 05

Tawang

Have breakfast in the morning and start with the exploration of Tawang that brings you to the Pangong Tang Tso that is also known as PT Tso where you can count on many bird species. have lunch and go out for some shopping after exploring the wonderful places. Also, visit the Craft Center and traditional Monpa Village followed by an overnight stay in the hotel!

Day 06

Tawang - Bomdila

Enjoy eating the morning breakfast post which you will checkout to start the drive to the next destination that is, Bomdila. Bomdila is 230 km away in the distance and 6 hours in time that brings to you the essence of nature with mountains, lush green forests, apple orchards and Buddhist culture that is escalated at a height of 2530 meters. Once you arrive at Bomdila, you will enjoy the scenic ride and then the flavor that you are treated to. Check-in the hotel and stay overnight!

Day 07

Bomdila – Kaziranga National Park

Start the day with the morning breakfast and drive away t the next interesting location post-check-out. Kaziranga National Park is 3 hours away on a drive where midway you can stop by Tezpur housing a lot of famous temples and monuments dating back to the mythological times. Once you reach Kaziranga, you will be finding yourself in the oldest park in Assam and is also considered as the UNESCO World Heritage Sites spread across an area of 430 sq km along the Brahmaputra river and Karbi hills. Post you reach, you will check-in the hotel or resort. Stay overnight!

Day 08

Kaziranga – Elephant and Jeep safaris

Wake up to the morning breakfast and start with the exploring or witnessing of the vivid fauna and flora species of Kaziranga that consists of one-horned rhinoceroses, followed by mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. Also, you will count on the sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reeds, marshes & shallow pools in flora. Go on for a jeep safari and also an elephant ride that is one of the most sought activities when you are here. After having lunch, you will be embarking on a visit to the Central Range of the Park that you discover on a safari. Day 09

Departure from Kaziranga
