Jaipur to Kerala – Explore God's Own Country

Day 01

Arrival in Munnar

Soon after you make your presence at the Cochin Airport or the Ernakulam station from Jaipur, the Swan Tours representative will greet you warmly and further accompany you on a transfer to the first Kerla tour destination on a road drive to Munnar from Cochin, that will consume 4 hours of time. Post your arrival in Munnar, you will check-in the hotel you are dropped at and spend the day at leisure and also take strolls along the streets! Stay overnight after having dinner, after enjoying the breeze and fresh green environs.

Day 02

Munnar local sightseeing

Post having the morning breakfast you will add on to the day by starting with the guided sightseeing tour in Munnar that takes you to a lot of tourist attractions that bring tourists here annually. Begin your trip by visiting the confluence of the three mountain streams namely, Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni, and Kundale that offer you the best views. Munnar is a beautiful hill station that is elevated at a height of 1600 m above the sea level, in the Kerala state of South India. Post this. continue with the sightseeing by paying visits to places like Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point along with the famous and native mountain goat, the Nilgiri Tahr. Later, return to the hotel in Munnar and stay overnight!

Day 03

Munnar to Thekkady

Start your day with a relishing morning breakfast and buck up to set out on a guided drive to Thekkady that is nearby taking 4 hours on a car drive. Soon after your arrival in Thekkady, you will proceed to the sightseeing ventures to some of the most sought places like, the world's most fascinating wildlife reserves like the Periyar Wildlife reserve that is spread across 777 sq. km with lush green forests spread out to entice its tourists. Other than this, you can also carry out some activities like boating in the Periyar lake, visit the spice plantation, and also take a ride on the elephant. Check-in the hotel in Thekkady and stay overnight after having dinner!

Day 04

Thekkady to Kumarakom

Post eating the early morning breakfast, you will go out on a guided transfer from Thekkady to Kumarakom that takes only 5 hours from Thekkady. You will be driven off to the hotel where you will check-in and relax for the day. Have lunch as you will go out for some sightseeing on a canoe, or a houseboat to the backwaters on the western banks of the Vembanad Lake that is spread across the 900 sq. km. Return to the hotel after the day comes to an end, and stay overnight after dinner!

Day 05

Kumarakom to Cochin

Enjoy eating the morning breakfast and start with a guided drive for a transfer to the last destination in your Kerala Tour that is Cochin from Kumarakom. Once you reach Cochin within two hours of your departure from Kumarakom, you will check-in the hotel that is prescribed to you and is pre-booked. Post having lunch, go out on a guided sightseeing tour in Cochin that is known as the major commercial trade center since the British times. The best places that you can explore and witness are Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. Later, return to the hotel stay overnight post having dinner!

Day 06

Departure from Cochin

After eating the early morning breakfast you will prepare to check-out from Cochin and depart for the airport or the railway station. After you are dropped at the airport or station in Cochin or Ernakulam, you will depart for home thus, bringing an end to the Jaipur to Kerala travel packages.
