Soon after your arrival in Paro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by the Swan Tour representative and transferred to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan on a beautiful road drive. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel at Thimphu where you will check-in and freshen up. In the evening, pay a visit to the Buddha Point and Thimphu Market. Later, return to the hotel and stay overnight!
Soon after you finish breakfast, you will carry out a guided tour to the best places in Thimphu that include, National Chorten, National Library, National Heritage Museum, Memorial Chorten, Tashicho Dzong, Mothinthang Zoo, Handicraft Emporium and Art & Craft School. Later, return to the hotel and stay overnight!
Eat the morning breakfast and proceed to the next destination that is Punakha on a road drive of 4 hours. En-route you will cover some of the amazing places like Wangdi / Punakha and cross Dorch La Pass. You will further pay a visit the Wangdue Phodrang Dzong and check-in the hotel at Punakha followed by an overnight stay!
After eating the morning breakfast, you will take a 125 km drive to the most-sought destination that is Paro. On arrival at Paro, you will check-in the hotel and take rest. In the evening, you can pay a visit to some places like, Drukyal Dzong,Ta Dzong, Kyichu Lakhang & Rinpung Dzong after which you will return to the hotel and stay overnight!
After the morning breakfast, you will expand your plan to visit Taktsang Lakhang also Known as " Tiger's Nest Monastery " for hiking that is elevated at a height of 3700 m. Carry out some shopping in Paro and return to the hotel to stay overnight!
Have breakfast and check-out from the hotel at Paro for you will be departing for hometown on a flight. This concludes the Coimbatore to Bhutan tour package.
