Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park (217 kms, 4 & 1/2 hrs drive)
Meet and greet by Swan Tours representative ,upon arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station and move to Kaziranga National Park.
Kaziranga National Park: Kaziranga National Park covers an area of over 430 sq km. Its landscape is characterized by swamps, beels, tall elephant grass, flat grasslands with streams.
This park houses a variety of flora and fauna and there are more than 40 species of fishes and 42 species of reptiles which are found in Kaziranga National Park.
En route visit -- Eco Shop: Take a look at famous traditional wooden craft made by local tribal people.
Arrive at Kaziranga and check-in at a jungle resort. Evening: Free at leisure. Overnight: Stay in jungle resort. -

Elephant Safari: In the early morning, enjoy an elephant ride in the central range (Kohora) of Kaziranga National Park.
After breakfast, take a visit to the Ethnic Village of Kajir Ronghangpi Aklam, Kohora and explore the way of living of North Eastern People.
Jeep Safari: Post lunch; enjoy one round of Jeep safari in the western range (Bagori) of Kaziranga National Park.
Overnight: Stay in jungle resort. -
Kaziranga National Park - Bomdila (242 kms, 7 hrs drive)
In the early morning after breakfast, take transfer to Bomdila. En-route visit -
Tezpur: This city is called the 'city of love' . It is situated on the northern bank of the Brahmaputra River.
At Tezpur, visit –
Agnigarh: The word 'Agnigarh' is a derivation of two Sanskrit words: 'Agni' meaning 'fire' and 'garh' meaning 'fort'. This was built by the king so that the daughter of the king stays in isolation.
Mahavoirab Temple: Here, at this temple the oldest Shiva shrine, where the second biggest Shiva linga of the world is worshipped.
Later, depart to Bomdila. On the way visit –
Naag Temple: from the top of the this temple which worships naag(snake) there is a majestic view of the Kameng River along with the lofty hills and picturesque valley.
Bomdila: Here you will find snow-covered mountains, marvelous countryside and lush green forests.
Overnight at Bomdilla. -
Bomdila - Tawang (180 kms, 6 hrs drive)
In the early morning after breakfast, visit –
Bomdila Monastery: Here you will find the Buddhist and Tibetan heritage and culture.
Craft Center: Make a visit to the Craft Center where very fine wooden carpets of colorful designs and Masks are produced.
Later depart to Tawang. En-route visit –
Jaswant Garh: This place is the resting abode of the valorous son of the soil, Jaswant Garh. It is the memorial place built in honor of Mahaveer Chakra awardee (posthumously).
Sela Pass: This is the entrance to the Tawang Valley and this narrow pass stands at an altitude of 13,714 feet.
Arrive at Tawang. Check-in hotel.
Tawang: This place is the majestic homeland of the Monpas and have uneven hills, enchanting streams and waterfalls.
Evening: Free at leisure. Overnight at Twang . -

In the morning after breakfast, take a full day excursion of Tawang visiting –
Tawang Monastery: This monastery houses 450 monks. It is set amidst snow capped mountains and beautiful valleys.
Urgelling Monastery: Here the th Dalai Lama was born and this monastery houses footprints and fingerprints of the Dalai Lama for visitors to seek the blessings.
Tawang War Memorial: This is a 40 feet multi-colored war memorial built in honor of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during 1962 Indo-China War.
Anis Gompa (The Nunneries): The Nunneries are women monasteries, where the nuns adopt priesthood willingly.
Craft Centre: Shop for woolen carpets and handmade paper here.
Overnight: stay in hotel. -
Tawang - Dirang (138 kms, 5 hrs drive)
After breakfast, take transfer to Dirang. En-route visit –
Lhou Village: Lhou village is an ancient Monpa village. Here basically terrace cultivation is practiced.
Rock Paintings: This rock paintings located near Jung includes rock carvings of Lord Buddha Shakyamuni, Avalokesteshuara and Guru Padmasambhava. Nuranang Waterfall: Have a glimpse of the spectacular natural beauty of Nuranang waterfall, locally known as Phong Phongma waterfall.
Later depart to Dirang.
Dirang: Dirang is the habitat of the Tribal Mahayana Monpas. The mild and soothing weather of Dirang with a pleasant wind blowing across the valley endows Dirang as a perfect hill station.
Arrive at Dirang. Visit –
Hot Water Spring: This is a famous picnic spot which attracts tourist as well as locals here. The hot springs are designated to possess some special healing properties.
Check-in hotel. Rest of the day: Free at leisure. Overnight: Stay in Dirang. -
Dirang - Bhalukpong (148 kms, 5 & 1/2 hrs drive)
In the morning after breakfast, visit –
Dirang Village (Basti): It is a beautiful village inhabited by Monpa tribal people.
Dirang Dzong: It is a fort which represents the culture of the Monpas.
Kalachakra Monastery: Kalachakra Monastery is a 500 years old Buddhist Gompa. It belongs to the Gelugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism.
Later depart to Bhalukpong. En-route visit –
Tipi Orchid Sanctuary: This sanctuary is home to a large collection of about 234 varieties of colorful orchids.
Arive at Bhalukpong. Check-in hotel.
Bhalukpong: This is a popular tourist spot which is situated on the Assam-Arunachal border.
Rest of the day: Free at leisure. Overnight stay in Bhalukpong. -
Bhalukpong - Guwahati depart (212 kms, 5 & 1/2 hrs drive)
After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onward destination.
